Social Media- Okay this may sound obvious but social media platforms are a great way to meet people, and here’s how to do it: You’ll want to make an account on sites like Tumblr, Reddit, or maybe instagram. These platforms are very interactive and it’s easy to find other users with similar interests. The trick here is to not be afraid to reach out, send someone you find interesting a direct message, have a conversation and see where things go. I have met some great people with this method and despite having met during quarentine we video call and talk often.

Omegle- I would only recommend this method a mature audience since this site can be risky. Through omegle you are thrown into a random video call with someone with the same interest that you express, you talk however long or little that you want and you can move on to the next person at any time.

Dating sites- Here me out on this one, you find more than just romantic partners on dating sites. Often times dating sites give you the option to search for friends, and if you want some human interaction online then why not give it a shot.

Meeting people online can be a great experience but its important to know that there are dangers as well. Never give any personal information to someone you meet online and be safe.
