Are Millenials too old for TikTok?

Do you ever get concerned that your target population isn’t the Gen z or not only the Gen z and the younger generation and was afraid you might not reach them through TikTok? As a fellow millennial, I am here to reassure you despite the stigmas we are still on TikTok, if not posting, scrolling!

Tik tok started being widely used especially with the Covid19 pandemic and what made it successful was the fact it can reach a lot of viewers with interesting and time-efficient videos in a short period of time. It is mostly considered a social media platform for the Gen z. But lucky for you, recent studies coming out are showing a shift in these age predilections with millennials rising up to the game.

So for the concern of marketing, I say go for it since I know a whole lot of millennials who are tired of life routine and using TikTok to spend their spare time for entertainment and even to be updated about what’s happening in the world, we don’t have the energy and time to watch the news yes? You have better chances of reaching us there than on any other social media platform these days. Of course, let’s not forget there is an addictive side to it that can end up wasting your time and needs caution!
