Wireframing or how to come down to essentials

Wireframing is all about focusing on what is really essential to understand the flow of the app. Sketch is really a good tool for that, but I think a pen and a paper would be even more convenient. A lot of good wireframe tools are downloadable online, that eases a lot the work when it is about icons and recurrent displays on the apps.

When wireframing, you’re not about the details, it really more fluent in your creativity and the experience of navigation itself, without all the decoration that comes after. You have to think about the essential informations you need to show to your potential team. It is all about sketching what’s in your mind. I think I’ll enjoy doing it for my personal projects, not only simplifying something that already exists.
