Posing For The Camera

Is it me or do some of these young children look slightly sinister. The images were all taken by an Edwardian photographer. They are part of a collection of glass plate negatives that I acquired. I scanned them and here they are to see.

They are mostly, I believe, children of a very well-to-do family. Just wait until you see the photographs of the adults dressed in costume [they will be posted in a separate article]. What were they thinking? All images: Laurie Manton Collection.
