Make 2019 a turning point in your life

Success in achieving our goals has always been a requirement for all people from different backgrounds. The same capacities and the same duration, but there are those who succeed in achieving them and there are those who fail. Through this post, I share a few practical ways to achieve goals.

Mind maps are one of the most important tools for organizing your goals and knowledge and developing new ideas. Write down all the ideas that come to you (brainstorming) and organize them. For that, you can use freemind. It is a free application that has everything you need to deal with Mindmaps.

Add to each goal measurable tasks so that it can be easily verified. For example, for learning a foreign language, try to put the task of studying a certain number of hours and so on.

The most difficult point in performing any task is often only the beginning. For example, in reading a book, if you make your goal to read one paragraph every day, then you are sure to accomplish it. After reading this paragraph, you will find yourself reading more later. Success in accomplishing a task increases your motivation to do another task and another until you reach the end of your goal.

Fill in your daily program with the tasks assigned to the goal. Control yourself weekly and monthly to follow your progress in your goals and rearrange and rectify what can be remedied. For example, you can set a weekly schedule and each task has a number of squares and at each end of the day color what you have completed, it always makes you aware of the progress you make.

You can also adopt a punishment policy with yourself to stimulate more to accomplish it (eg if you do certain tasks you can do anything you like to do and vice versa).

Plan for the next day at the end of each day until you start in the morning immediately completing your tasks.

The same ideas you can apply to your children and create an atmosphere of competition among them and reward them after success in accomplishing the tasks. Just remember that the goal is to build the habits that lead them at the end to reach their goals. Set easy goals, better rewards for the extra work.

Feel free to share your thoughts and tools to meet your goals.
